Chapada dos Veadeiros basically has two seasons during the year: a rainy season and a dry season. Since the region is located 1,600 meters above sea level, the average annual temperature is only 23°C. The best period to visit the national park and enjoy local adventure tourism is between the months of April and October. During this period, it hardly ever rains, there are still many flowers around the fields, and the waterfalls still display a great volume of water.
